Kopperl Community:
The Kopperl NHS students are asking for monetary donations for their Angle Tree Project. The NHS is involved in many service projects which help to give back to our community.
The students provide Thanksgiving Baskets to families and we do the Angel Tree Project.
For the past 10 years, the NHS students have collected donations to help a family at Christmas. The NHS sponsors a class competition to see which class can raise the most money.
The class that wins, gets a party! And, all the money collected goes to purchase Christmas gifts and/or food for a family in our community.
Last year we were fortunate enough to provide Christmas for 2 families with a total of 7 kids!
Class donations will be from Nov. 4 – Dec. 6, 2024.
This is wonderful time to teach students the importance of giving and helping those in need. I know that we are all faced with financial hardships, especially today; however, any amount of donation is greatly appreciated!
Collection jars are in classes and there is one in the school office.
The NHS students would like to thank everyone for participating and donating to this wonderful cause.
